Cincinnati United Fall Finale is a tournament will be open to all teams providing top, middle, and lower levels available. We want to provide the most challenging, rewarding and unique soccer experience possible for teams while playing on the best fields in Cincinnati at Voice of America Park, Lebanon Sports Complex & Warren County Sports Complex.

FIELD OF PLAY, DIVISIONS AND BRACKETING
The Cincinnati United Fall Finale invites all level teams from throughout the United States and Canada to apply for entry.

The tournament hosts the following divisions:
  • Gold - Top Level teams
  • Silver - Higher B/C teams
  • Bronze - Lower C/D teams

Applicants will be selected and bracketed according to the following general criteria with the objective of forming the most competitive divisions possible:
  • strength of league record
  • strength of league or division
  • recent tournament play & competitive level of tournaments selected
  • ranking in Gotsoccer.com
  • past performance in the CU CUP, Party on the Pitch or CU Elite Invitational
  • other competitive/geographic factors
(The Director of Competition and/or the Tournament Director may make exceptions or adjustments to the above guidelines in order to balance the competitiveness of certain divisions, depending upon entries).

The CU Fall Finale central communications vehicle is this web site. Teams will find all information about the tournament here. 

All teams accepted into the CU Fall Finale will be notified by e-mail and directed to this site to obtain the forms necessary registration. NO ACCEPTANCE PACKETS WILL BE SENT. 

The CU Fall Finale Scoring Services Group will provide real-time scoring of all play during tournament weekend. 

By applying for the CU Fall Finale, your team agrees to permit the taking and posting of event photographs, including game action, as well as off-the-field human interest shots. If your team has concerns about the posting of game photos, please do not apply to this event. 



TOURNAMENT MANAGEMENT
The Cincinnati United Fall Finale is staged by the parent volunteers of the Cincinnati United Soccer Club who take enormous pride in making the CU Fall Finale an outstanding soccer experience. 

They are directed by the Tournament Committee:

ELIGIBILITY
The tournament is open to currently registered USSF league or association teams comprised of no more than the maximum allowable number of players for their respective age levels. All teams must be currently registered and in good standing with their state, national, or provincial association, and hold a valid US Soccer player pass for the current seasonal year. Passes will be inspected prior to the start of each match. USYS and US Club teams are accepted.

RULES
A minimum of 3 games are guaranteed. All games will be played in accordance with FIFA Laws, except as modified by Tournament Rules. Tournament Rules are posted on this website and can be downloaded for print.

AGE GROUPS
Divisions:
Boys & Girls U8 through U15.
U8s will play 5v5
U9s and U10s will play 7 v 7
U11s and U12s will play 9 v 9
U13s and U14/U15s will play 11 v 11 (trapped eighth graders accepted)



REFEREES

A USSF three-man referee system will be used to the maximum extent possible for all matches with emphasis on divisions U-10 and up.  USSF Registered referees, who are in good standing and who wish to referee, are encouraged to sign up 




HOTELS

*ALL OUT OF TOWN TEAMS MUST STAY AT A TOURNAMENT-APPROVED HOTEL*




AWARDS
Each player on the Championship and Runner-up teams will receive a custom tournament medallion. A team trophy will be presented to the Championship and Runner-up teams.



APPAREL
Information will be coming in regards to apparel for the tournament.



PAYMENTS
All Check or Money Order entries must be postmarked by September 26, 2022 and should be made payable to the Cincinnati United Fall Finale. All entry fees received through check or money order are deposited immediately and refunded within 2 weeks of non-acceptance. Teams must include with your entry fee your teams “certificate of entry” or copy of e-mail entry confirmation. Payments should be mailed to CU Fall Finale, C/O Joe Wuest, 8266 Beckett Station Drive, West Chester, Ohio 45069.

Entry Fees:
  • $300 for U8 -- 5v5 divisions
  • $675 for U9 and U10 -- 7v7 divisions
  • $725 for U10 and U12 -- 9v9 divisions
  • $775 or U12, U13, and U14/15 -- 11v11 divisions (trapped 8th graders accepted)

All Entry Fees must be postmarked by September 26, 2023 to guarantee consideration. All late applications will be put on a wait list for review. Upon acceptance, the fee is non-refundable. If your team is accepted and later withdraws, the entry fee is non-refundable and sanctions will be placed against your team/club for future participation in Cincinnati United Events.

Acceptance and Schedule

Participation is not final until acceptances are announced in early October 2020. Acceptances will be posted on the Tournament Website. Schedules should be posted 7 days prior to events. Please note some matches may begin at 8am and teams may have early morning matches each day to avoid conflicts for coaches while giving teams plenty of rest between matches.

We will be utilizing GotSport online registration process only. All documents should be uploaded by October 18th. Please check the registration page for all necessary forms needed.
